A few weeks ago, we took our boys (a 2 year old and a 6 month old) to see the Salt Lake Bees baseball game in downtown Salt Lake City.
The Smith’s Ballpark offers “Family Night” a few Mondays each season where you can get tickets for only $5 and hotdogs for $1–such a great deal for a triple-A baseball game!
We enjoyed riding the free kid’s train around the outfield before the game started, exploring the “Kids Zone”, and finding some cool souvenirs at the Fanz shop. We were pleasantly surprised by the family friendly atmosphere!
Our son Dax was SUPER excited to eat his icecream out of a Salt Lake Bees baseball helmet. He still loves to sport his helmet around the house when he’s pretending to be a baseball player.
The weather was absolutely gorgeous, and we were glad that the ballpark offered picnic style seating just past the outfield where our toddler could stretch his legs while we watched the game. We had such a great experience, and we will definitely be back with our boys in tow!
